I bought this phone during pre ordering, I have had it for about a week as I am writing this review. I am coming from being a previous user of the Google pixel 7 pro. I was not happy at all with the Google pixel. I prefer the smaller size of this phone. Ample space as i got the 512GB phone. Camera is decent. Overall performance is satisfactory. phone is great! love the battery life, the performance and new features. the camera function seems to display colours more towards natural rather than vivid. not sure if i prefer this display. durability wise no issue as usual. my previous phone was a S22, this S26 screen is slightly bigger. i appreciate that. i misread however that the privacy toggle was on all S26, turns out it only applies to S26 ultra, minor disappointment there but I guess it's my fault considering i didn't read properly haha. would have gotten the S26 anyway. helps with all the ongoing promos really helped to reduce the cost of the phone. don't think apple will ever be able to beat with such discounts and overtrade bonuses.

Seul gros défaut pour moi le bloc appareil photo qui dépasse beaucoup à l'arrière et rend le téléphone bancale dès qu on le pose, ou raccroche dans la poche. Quelle idée d avoir choisi un design pareil alors qu avant c'était super fin (sur mon s23....) Dommage aussi que le privacy display soit réservé à l ultra car je n'aime pas les grands téléphones, au quotidien je préfère le compact d'où le choix du s26.

I think my new favorite feature is the call captions, which transcribe my call into text in real time. It does get some words wrong but I think that is due to the call quality from the other caller. I still have a lot of exploring to do with my phone because I've only had it 2 days now but I just can't believe how much this phone has to offer, it's insane! Now Nudge allows me to respond quicker than I could, and AI selector lets me copy text from content that originally couldnt be copied, easily and rapidly. However, when I see the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, I notice how advanced its display is, since it has a new screen feature called Privacy Display. And when I look back at my Samsung Galaxy S26, I wonder why it doesn't have the Privacy Display feature, which could have been great. Overall, it’s a good phone, that I would've liked it to have the new Privacy Display feature.

The camera quality is above average, storage at 512gb for the regular S26 model, user interface responsiveness has done a few haywire things, customization features awesome. I'm most impressed by the integrated AI feature that I can activate at any point without having to exit the current screen I'm on. The Galaxy AI features are not only fun but very handy and I've been using it more frequently whereas before I was mostly opposed to it. Galaxy AI, alright. The bottom of the phone keeps glitching out on certain things, especially when a keyboard is involved. Keeps running apps like Facebook in the background, playing ads, with the screen locked. Shrink flation is noticeable. Thicker glass on both sides of the phone is recommended. 1/4 to with. I can care less about the length. The phone should automatically optimize and close out apps and anything else running in the background that I am not currently using. Makes my phone run hot.

A wise choice as we have only had an issue with one mobile many years ago, it was replaced immediately by Samsung atthetime. Customer service is on another level. The S26 is brilliant, continuous integration from one mobile to the next through the Smart Switch app is very helpful. The new features are still being investigated on our new mobiles but so far we are both very impressed with what the newest features can do for us. We hebben ook een Pixel 10 Pro gekocht voor mijn vrouw, en die maakt duidelijk betere foto’s. Aan de andere kant is de S26 wel merkbaar sneller dan de Pixel, wat voor mij een groot pluspunt is. Wat me wel een beetje tegenviel, was de batterij. Eén keer had ik de telefoon rond de 10% achtergelaten en toen ik hem een half uur later weer wilde gebruiken, was hij volledig leeg. Dat gaf me niet echt vertrouwen in de batterijduur. Als Android developer ben ik over het algemeen tevreden met de software en de AI-functionaliteiten. Wel vond ik het jammer dat er veel standaard geïnstalleerde Samsung- en Google-apps zijn die dezelfde dingen doen. Ik heb uiteindelijk handmatig opgeschoond en gekozen voor de Google-apps die ik gewend ben, en alleen de noodzakelijke Samsung-apps behouden. Het zou fijner zijn als dit niet allemaal vooraf geïnstalleerd was. Functies zoals AI Select, Creative Studio en AI Vision vind ik erg goed, maar ik heb ze pas later zelf ontdekt. Een korte tutorial bij het instellen van het toestel zou hier echt een meerwaarde zijn. Al met al ben ik tevreden met de telefoon. Qua prijs-kwaliteitverhouding vind ik dit een van de beste keuzes op dit moment.

Dat de telefoon aan de achterkant meer gecurved kan zijn zodat het fijner is om het vast te houden. En dat de achterkant ook symetrisch is zodat het niet wiepeld op platvormen. Bixby is enorm fijn' alleen vind ik het jammer dat het nederlands niet verstaat. Alleen daarom gebruik ik google als mijn AI Assistent. Maar ik wil heel graag bixby gebruiken maar ik wacht op het moment dat er een nederlandse versie bestaat.

Very convenient for a variety of tasks that would usually require me to use my laptop. I still haven't utilized many for the features however I plan on getting around to doing so,at least to get familiarized with them. I just recently performed a device update and in the process of reorganizing my apps and app drawer layout for a more convenient way to access the tools for various projects Im currently working on. This helps seamlessly improve my work flow and prevents me from getting sidetracked by other things in my device unrelated to the task at hand.
[Deze beoordeling is verzameld als deel van een promotie.] Na jarenlang mijn Samsung Galaxy S21 gebruikt te hebben, ben ik overgestapt naar de Samsung Galaxy S26 512GB en eerlijk gezegd had ik niet verwacht dat het verschil zó groot zou zijn. Mijn S21 was altijd een fijne telefoon, maar de S26 voelt echt als een enorme upgrade in alles wat ik dagelijks gebruik. Wat meteen opvalt is hoe snel en soepel deze telefoon werkt. Apps openen direct, multitasken gaat zonder moeite en alles voelt veel vloeiender aan dan op mijn S21. Ook blijft de telefoon veel koeler tijdens intensief gebruik, zoals gamen of meerdere apps tegelijk gebruiken. De batterijduur is voor mij misschien wel het grootste verschil. Waar ik mijn S21 vaak tussendoor moest opladen, gaat de S26 makkelijk een hele dag mee. zelfs bij veel gebruik van social media, video’s kijken, muziek luisteren en foto’s maken. Dat geeft echt zoveel meer gemak in het dagelijks leven. Ook de camera’s zijn duidelijk verbeterd. De foto’s zijn scherper, helderder en vooral bij weinig licht zie je echt verschil met de S21. Foto’s in het donker blijven verrassend scherp en duidelijk, zonder dat alles korrelig of wazig wordt. Zelfs ’s avonds of in donkere ruimtes maakt deze telefoon nog mooie, heldere foto’s met veel detail. Dat had ik bij mijn S21 toch een stuk minder. De zoomfunctie heeft me ook positief verrast. Zelfs wanneer je ver inzoomt, blijven foto’s scherp en goed bruikbaar. Vooral bij concerten, vakanties of het maken van foto’s van iets op afstand merk je echt hoe goed de camera van de S26 is geworden. Video’s ogen daarnaast super professioneel en vloeiend. Het scherm is ook echt next level. Buiten in de zon blijft alles perfect zichtbaar door de veel hogere helderheid. Op mijn S21 moest ik soms moeite doen om mijn scherm goed te zien, maar met de S26 heb ik daar totaal geen last meer van. Het AMOLED-scherm ziet er prachtig uit en alles voelt extra vloeiend dankzij de vernieuwde displaytechnologie. Daarnaast voelt de telefoon veel luxer aan door het sterkere glas en het premium design. Ook de 512GB opslagruimte is ideaal, want ik hoef me eindelijk geen zorgen meer te maken over volle opslag door foto’s, video’s en apps. Wat ik persoonlijk ook een groot pluspunt vind, zijn de nieuwe AI-functies. Dingen zoals slimme fotoverbetering, live vertalen en handige dagelijkse suggesties maken de telefoon echt slimmer en fijner in gebruik. Bovendien krijg je jarenlang updates, terwijl de S21 inmiddels aan het einde van zijn ondersteuning zit. Wat mij ook echt positief is opgevallen, is hoe goed de microfoon en het geluid van de Samsung Galaxy S26 zijn verbeterd. Tijdens het bellen klink ik voor de andere persoon aan de lijn veel helderder en duidelijker dan met mijn S21. Zelfs wanneer ik op luidspreker bel of verbonden ben met de carkit in de auto, blijft mijn stem goed verstaanbaar zonder storend achtergrondgeluid. Dat maakt gesprekken echt prettiger. Daarnaast is ook het geluid van muziek en video’s een stuk beter geworden. De speakers klinken voller, helderder en hebben meer diepte, waardoor muziek luisteren, filmpjes kijken of gamen echt veel fijner aanvoelt. Je merkt gewoon dat de audiokwaliteit op alle vlakken verbeterd is. Ik zou de Samsung Galaxy S26 512GB echt aanraden aan iedereen die een snelle, mooie en betrouwbare smartphone zoekt. Het is misschien niet de goedkoopste telefoon, maar je krijgt er enorm veel kwaliteit voor terug. Voor mij is dit zonder twijfel één van de beste telefoons die ik ooit heb gehad.

My new phone is so good, it is faster, slightly bigger, although not noticeable and is a great upgrade that I make every year when the new model is released. I couldn't be happier with my new phone, the price and the overall process of the trade-up program arranged by Samsung is the best way to upgrade particularly when you pre-order and get the 512Gb for the price of 256Gb plus some other discounts for pre-ordering this fantastic phone. I love it. Thankyou Samsung . I will be back for more.

After a day maybe it got to where it could not verify my fingerprint. Amd half the time says ita not me for the facial recognition. Other than that it is great. It's very fast, plenty of storage. The camera is unbelievable. Running powerful AI and python code is very doable on here. The in-house Galaxy AI is brilliant, as is the image studios. The ability to integrate Gemini and Perplexity is great as well. If a fix or cure for my fingerprint and facial problems is found, this would be a 5 and no complaints at all. Even with them, this is still the best phone I have ever had. Keep it up!

Seriously, ever since I bought the thing it's just been great, one ui is great, the snapdragon chip and the 12gb of ram make it feel really quick and snappy whenever im doing anything, and unlike my other phones, this thing hasn't ever crashed or slowed down once. It's even convinced me to upgrade to the S27 Ultra when that inevitably releases. In short my experience with this phone has been nothing short of great. Would highly recommend someone get one of these.

[Deze beoordeling is verzameld als deel van een promotie.] Ik heb deze telefoon een paar weken geleden gekocht. Ik vind alles heel erg goed! Het privacyscherm heeft me enorm verbaasd. Maar wat ik wel enorm jammer vind, is dat de S Pen niet meer op afstand kan besturen. Het zou top zijn als dat terug zou komen. Daarnaast heb ik niets te klagen over het design. Maar het zou een stuk fijner zijn als de achterkant iets meer gebogen zou zijn, zodat het fijner is om hem vast te houden, en dat de achterkant wat symmetrischer kan zijn, zodat de telefoon niet wiebelt als hij op een platform ligt. Ik gebruikte al die tijd Google als mijn AI-assistent, maar ik ben erachter gekomen dat Bixby veel beter is. Maar ik vind het niet fijn om Bixby te gebruiken omdat Bixby geen Nederlands begrijpt. Als ik Bixby in het Nederlands kon besturen, zou deze telefoon veel fijner zijn.

De telefoon voelt snel aan, apps openen direct en het scherm is heel helder en vloeiend door de 120Hz-verversingssnelheid. Foto's met de 50MP camera zijn scherp en de batterij gaat bij mij makkelijk de hele dag mee. Het enige nadeel vind ik dat hij vrij duur is en dat de verschillen met oudere modellen niet enorm groot zijn. Toch is het voor mij een fijne, snelle smartphone die alles doet wat ik nodig heb.

Dat de camera nog steeds geen fatsoenlijke upgrade heeft gehad is gewoon onnavolgbaar. Schaam je Samsung. Als muziekfanaat is het nog erger dat Samsung geen aptX Lossless / aptX Adaptive ondersteunt, waar mijn Denon Perl Pro earbuds gebruik van 'kunnen' maken. Dus zowel bij beeld als geluid schiet deze veel te dure telefoon tekort. Nu vraag je je af, waarom dan de keuze voor Samsung? Ik krijg de telefoon van mijn werkgever, die enkel de keuze biedt tussen Apple en Samsung. Als ik een bredere keuze had gehad, was het sowieso geen S26 geworden.

Il est dommage qu’un appareil de cette qualité rencontre ce type de problème. En dehors de ce point, l’expérience globale reste très satisfaisante.
