- Inspect the filters: Verify that the motor filter and fine dust filter (if applicable) are properly installed inside the dustbin.
- Insert the dustbin: If the dustbin is missing, securely attach it before starting the device.
- The Jet Bot AI+ model includes a fine dust filter, while the standard Jet Bot uses a motor filter located within the dustbin.
2. How to Set Up the Clean Station
The Clean Station serves as both the charging dock and dustbin for your Jet Bot. Follow these steps to set it up:
- Place the Clean Station: Position the Clean Station in a flat, open area with at least 1 meter of clearance around it.
- Power on the Clean Station: Ensure the power supply is connected and the station is turned on. Without power, the Jet Bot cannot locate the docking station or recharge automatically.
- Connect the Jet Bot: After placing the Jet Bot near the Clean Station, it will automatically dock and begin charging.
- The Jet Bot does not have a physical remote control. All operations are managed via the SmartThings app or onboard buttons.
